HONORARIUMS AND MEMORIAL TRIBUTE GIFTS
Families and friends often find comfort in honoring the life of their loved one through a gift which becomes a lasting tribute. Crater Community Hospice is frequently designated for memorial gifts in lieu of flowers. Memorial donations received by Crater Community Hospice are thanked individually and the family is notified of the gift and donor’s name. Gift amounts are not disclosed. You may also choose to make gifts on the anniversary of a special event such as a birthday, a wedding anniversary or a holiday. Please include the name and address of the individual(s) you would like us to notify along with your gift.
Donation envelopes are available to families through Crater Community Hospice or families may ask for memorial gifts through an online or newspaper obituary. The notice in the obituary might read:
“In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in memory to
Crater Community Hospice, 3916 South Crater Road, Petersburg, VA 23805.”
Gifts made in honor or memory of a loved one may also become a part of the Crater Community Hospice Giving Tree. CLICK HERE to download a Giving Tree donation form.
